With the judgment of November 5th, the Council finally stopped the old matter of necessary requirements to change sex. It decided the law does not force anyone to the surgery in order to change registry office sex.
It is not an expected result. The Council is making a new advanced edition of 1982’s law as a :”landing place of a cultural and judicial evolution. Its aim is to recognize the right of personal identity, which is part of fundamental rights of man.”
